Nature at its finest

Sunsets have always been a slight obsession of mine.  Well, I went with my boyfriend and his family to Lake Guntersville, AL and the sunsets were breathtaking!  I honestly did not want to leave.

Yes, I was up close with deer and this time it did not involve me hitting any in a car!

Father's Day

Happy Early Father’s Day Scott

I know today isn’t Father’s Day, but my dad will be on a cruise so we are celebrating a little early.
No matter how old I get I will always be my daddy’s little girl .
Thank you for teaching me, loving me, guiding me, listening to me, and so many other things that you continually do.  I love you Daddy!

Plans

I think having plans are a really good thing.  However, when you get fixated on only your plans things can go bad quickly!  Lately I have tried to approach things/situations with a better attitude and an open mind.  This picture found on Pinterest is beautiful and so true.  Don't be afraid to make plans, but be open to the fact that God might have a bigger and better plan.  When things don't go how we feel they should it may just be his way of saying I have something better in mind.

I have a few plans of my own right now.  First, I am finishing up with an online class right now and then I will be an official college graduate in August!  Its great being able to say that after years of hard work and dedication.  Second, I plan to enter the Insurance industry, which will be a huge step in my life.  A step that I am eager about and that I am really looking forward to.

Just a little something I thought I would share.

The weekend

Well guys, the weekend is almost over and back to school I will go tomorrow.  I am not really looking forward to this week; 1 literature review, marketing proficiency exam (that you must pass to graduate), personal selling exam, marketing research exam and I could probably keep going.

However, it is MILK & COOKIES this Wednesday and Thursday at the Delta Gamma House! yum yum If you are in Starkville you should really come by and get some!

Hope everyone has a wonderful Superbowl Sunday!

What are you Passionate about?

What are you passionate about? Many times when you are asked this question people think; shoes, sports, clothes, my significant other, etc. I myself am so shamefully admitting that I think that way far too often.  I watched a live stream online from PineLake Church and Chip Henderson the Senior pastor spoke on this subject.

If we seek God, we will find him. If we forsake God we are just inviting trouble into our lives and God will forsake us forever.
- "God will forsake us forever" hearing that just made me start thinking I do not want that to ever happen to me!  God loves us all no matter what and when we realize that we are not seeking him, then all we have to do is humbly say to him, God I need you.

"My fear is not that you won't be successful, but that you will be successful in the wrong things"
- What is success to you? You career, Love, Vacations, etc?

Ask yourself this, Are you seeking God for your sake, or are you seeking him for his sake?
- He knows our wants and desires.  He also knows that these desires might not be what is best for us or in his plan for us.  Do you want the benefits that God has to offer?  If so, then you must seek him and do so diligently.

So, I will ask again.  What are you passionate about?

http://pinelake.org/sermons/ -website for this sermon.  Check it out! You will be so glad you did I promise!!

Have a wonderful day! Love, Natalie
